Tips for using your PREIT Mall American Express® Gift Card

  • Record the embossed 15-digit gift Card number and 4-digit ID number on the front of your Card and keep in a safe place in case it is lost or stolen.
  • Your Gift Card can be used virtually anywhere American Express® Cards are accepted in the United States.*
  • Gift Cards do not incur monthly service fees and funds will not expire (including dormancy, service or other fees). There are also no after purchase fees including replacement of lost/stolen Cards, balance check, customer service.
  • Always know your balance as you shop with your Gift Card. The original balance should be indicated on the box located on the back of the Gift Card. You can check the available balance at:

    • Local PREIT Mall Management Office, Monday-Friday 9am through 5pm
    • 24/7 service online or by phone 1-800-297-6010
    Please have your 4-digit ID code from the front of your Gift Card available to check your balance.
  • Each time the Card is used, the amount of the purchase will be deducted from the Card value. For example, if you have $100 on your Card and make a $25.50 purchase, your new Card value is $74.50.
  • The funds on the Card do not expire. The "valid thru" date on the front of the Card is the date through which the physical plastic Card must be used. This date is required to process transactions at merchants that request a plastic expiration date. Even if the "valid thru" date has passed on the Card, its Available Balance remains unchanged and intact. In order to keep making purchases with your Available Balance, after a Card's "valid thru" date has passed, please call Customer Service at 1-800-297-6008 for instructions on how to redeem the available funds or stop by your local PREIT Mall's Gift Card sales location for a replacement Card.
  • Keep your purchase receipt and the Gift Card in case you wish to make a return. Return policies vary at every store. Please inquire about the return or exchange policy when making your purchase. If the Merchant agrees to issue a credit to the Gift Card, these funds may not be available until the credit posts, which may take up to seven days.
